Subject: USA Users
Please don't lump me into some shady group of new players... Now i'm worried if i invest too much time playing you all are going to try and get me kicked out??? that is crazy! do you want new players? I'm allowed one team right? or are new players not welcome?? confused...
I'm sure Sebek didn't mean that all teams are unfair, he just mentioned all teams that are new.
Everything has been clarified in the admins and there are no longer any suspicions about new people, which makes me happy, but I suspect that most of the teams with this will not log in again because they waited too long for the team, there were some problems with accepting teams for some time and I got this answer from one of the admins:
"These are the admin logs. He probably assigned all the waiting teams automatically after the Sokker error, regardless of when the application was submitted. But everything is OK"
I'm even more glad that you stayed :) you came back to the game after a break, is this your first meeting with sokker? If you have any questions, you can write, I will be happy to answer them :)

After reading this comment, I can already see that you've played sokker before :) like most of us :) and I'll write again, everything has already been explained and no one has any suspicions about the new users :)

Well, there is a new training, more teams in the league, if you have anything, ask, because the rules have not been translated yet...

LOL, I've been tutoring a couple of teams all the time. Right now I'm working with Monstarrs in A3, and to a little lesser extent Gastrolith Concretions who I think just came out of B league. The latter is another OLD player like me from 15 years ago. His old team name was Nanook of the North.
Once I get Monstarrs pretty squared away (he's been slow to buy youth) I'll reach out to other fresh teams.

As far as the mass registrations, I have never really paid attention to specific timing, but so far I HAVE noticed that the team assignments come in large waves like this. I keep being told Sokker does periodic advertising, but interestingly enough I don't think I've ever seen an ad for the game. Yes, the vast majority of these new users won't stick. The game is honestly continues to have a steep learning curve for the uninitiated. The guides help but there generally just needs to be a desire to keep playing from the start.
edit: also, damn your username is familiar. What was your team name back then? Blue balls still? My team back then was the New York Cosmos.

I was here from 2006-2011. All of my A-league action was in A4, which is why there's no record of it anymore :)

I mean, how stupid would someone be to stack an NT election?
Not only is the reward not worth the risk, but you'd get yourself banned anyway. Even if you won.

Exactly, the most important thing is that the elections are fair and that each user has one account :) and I am very happy with each new user, it is a greater chance to develop not only the national team, but then the leagues become more interesting and people want to play, and also the forum it comes to life :) and I think that's what we all care about :) I would like sokker to develop more and more, for more and more users to join and most importantly, for them to stay and not give up after several logins, so I'm here to help :)
Getting new users acclimated to the game is the #1 thing I find. It's a lot to ask people to actively tutor others though. Sometimes, they quit anyway.
I mean, I can even speak for myself. I was likely going to stick it out anyway, but norbert basically took the time over about 40 emails over a week or so to catch me up on things.
Thats not what I meant to say at all! I just pulled up the raw numbers for users so that everyone can see and decide for themselves. Nothing about this looks sketchy to me and I think Adi is wrong! It's not like there are a billion new users this week and zero for the last several months. The recent new users do not suggest an uptick to rig an election like Adi is suggesting.
It is well known that most players only open the game up once just to never log in again. I was trying to point out that a few new players seem to be sticking around for once which is good for the game and competitiveness.
Why would anyone sack their starting team and buy up solid 18yo trainees just to cast a vote? Sounds like a veteran player starting off strong.

there was a similar situation in Portugal and also during the elections, and this season one of the candidates is Portuguese, coincidence?

I also filed a report on this case as I cannot trust that the administration actually said this. You've already shown that you invent a lot. I went to check the IPs, as you say with great certainty that you will win the elections. I found this strange, and went to see the IPs of the teams.
