I once played this game for numerous seasons back in the early days (Seasons 8-16 ish). Stopped playing about 7 years ago, not sure why. I think my team name was the Cosmos.
I think, for a while, I thought this game had closed down, I'd randomly look and the website wouldn't resolve. Must have been some bad timing with updates or whatever.

Yesterday I saw it was back, and decided to take another crack at things. We are presently in B4 and although I remember a lot of how this all goes, there are a few things we don't remember.

I've turned over the roster given me, and it appears that we can train any 10 players we want, position regardless (assuming you have the trainer). That's a positive change.
I like more league matches in the week too, should be less boring waiting around.

Regardless, we know we're broke, and there's a tremendous disadvantage to starting a game like this so far behind. We'll see how it goes for us.
