Nearly half way through the second season in II.02, and things are still ok.
`This season was all about cementing our position and maybe adding to the squad. We sold Bryan and Orue for over £1m each, Negus was sold for £544k, Lugowski went for just over £600k and the final sale was Slonina for just under £400k.
This allowed the club to buy a new striker for just over £2.56m which was a club record purchase, and we also bought a new mid for £956k which was the final first team mid we were looking for. We still need another striker and a new keeper, and it looks like Di Martino may have to be sold to generate these funds. That will leave us a bit weak at the back, but the youngsters coming through will soon improve to fill their boots I am sure`.

Might take me a while longer…gubbage rejoined in 2018 and (don’t tell him) did well to make it to prem in 4 years…I only restarted in 2021…still the 2nd youngest team in my II league…and my team of pensioners constantly plopping struggle to be sustainably better than lower II..but avoidi...
