Subject: BRAZIL WORLD CUP FINALS

2014-07-14 14:39:15
Deserved victory for Germany.

Argentina played Anti-Football ("Bus-Parking" like Chelsea - it is legal way to play, but not the "best" football)

Imagine, that Argentina would be the "best" team of the World Cup ?
Argentina all matches won with only 1 goal more (2-1, 1-0, 3-2, 1-0, 1-0, 0-0)

Colombia, Mexico, France, Chile, Holland, Germany, they all played better football than Argentina.
Not every time the best team wins the World Cup (if Argentina would won yesterday).

Most part of the world say the same: Germany deserved it more than Argentina (at this final)
Argentina played with many fouls (the referee did not give 2 yellow/red cards)

Germany try, and try, and try to make a goal, they go more risk than Argentina (to get a counter attack)

Argentina with very compact defense play and (only) counter attack's (it is a legal way to play, no problem - but it is not the best football, that the whole world will say, that those team's deserved a champion of a Word Cup)

This is my opinion and my point of view - I respect all other opinions.

Brasil people are very good fair host that event - Congratulation for BRASIL - I hope for the future, that they will have better medical support and better education, that this country can grow and the forgotten people will not stay on the track.

So, four years ago, Spain was not the "best" team of the WC? ;) Way to the title: 0-1, 2-0, 2-1, 1-0, 1-0, 1-0, 1-0.

Also, Argentina's tactic yesterday was almost perfect - they had even the better opportunities and should score at least twice. Still it's deserved for Germany considering the whole tournament. I think though that no team could really convince throughout the whole tournament. Germany had it's average matches as well against Ghana and Algeria. Maybe the Netherlands and Costa Rica made the best out of their team.

The fact is that Germany won all its matches in the final phase (eliminations). Argentina was uncapable of doing so, and had to pass by penalties the previous round.

So, this simple, Germany deserved the victory. 100%. Without question.

Other thing is that Argentina could have won Germany in the last match. But Germany won. So a victory deserved AND achieved.

------------------------

And, btw, I too am a bit fed up with the Argentian apologists. I conceded that Argentina player a bit more in the second half, but in no case could nullify Germany. Argentina played to get some counterattacks and quick plays, but Germany armed, conducted and tried well ellaborated plays during ALL the full match.

IMHO, if to compare amongs a team playing solid and regular and trying once and again, and another defending and betting all its odds to get a fortunate chance... I personally (and undoubtely) will consider the first one more deserving of winning.

Other thing are the results, where luck can turn all upside-down in a moment. But I think Argentina spent its all in the penalties vs Netherlands, and they should be really happy of having reached the Final, instead of whining about if they deserved or not the Championship.

Since you being there I'll take your word as valid.
I think that the words on bold are out of place, they arediscriminatory.

football was like semi-professional back then, so I don`t see why anyone would make such a big fuss out of some match that happened 85 years ago
2014-07-15 00:22:35
Ask that to the guy that is still claiming for the 2nd goal.
2014-07-15 11:29:25
Well that's history and it was the greatest success of Yugoslavia football, third place. People who participated in 1930 admitted post-war that it was not fair :)
Although we would've probably won EC 1992 if there were no war.

Everybody told me that I was a whipping baby for complaining about 2014 cup... so complaining about 1930 makes people what... whipping granpa?
2014-07-15 18:18:36
People who participated in 1930

yeah... whatever... you can add a star to Jugoslavia badge whenever you want... wait... crap...

Insulting me is not the answer.

the penalty of Neuer on Higuain???
2014-07-18 11:58:04
The penalty against Kramer, the boy was knocked out???
2014-07-18 13:24:12
That wasn't a penalty of course, the defender just stood there and Kramer walked right into him (he had no idea where he was going). Bad luck, that's what it was. Neuer's foul was definitely a penalty and a red card though. I don't think he had any bad intentions, but had he been a defender instead of a goalkeeper he would have probably received a red card (and a penalty). I understood Higuain's disbelief perfectly, this was a clear example of how referees sometimes protect goalkeepers too much.
