Subject: GROUP G (GER/POR/GHA/USA)

I've slept for 3 hours today, my brain malfunctioned :D

if USA won`t loose against Portugal tonight, and i hope they won`t, they have the biggest chances of qualifying...the portuguese would need a big victory against ghana, 4-5 goals difference in order to stand a chance
2014-06-22 15:32:23
I hope that Portugal wins today, Germany beats USA and Ghana beats Portugal = Ghana goes through.

Germany - Ghana maybe the best game to watch so far
two very good teams

Rumours from Rio say Ronaldu is 100% fit finally.

Booyah.

Portugal-USA fun to watch so far. This must be the most entertaining group right now, although some of the others can compensate with thrill or striking results.
2014-06-23 01:33:33
Italy/England/Uruguay/Costa Rica group is also really entertaining, even more I think.

Brazil/Mexico/Hrvatska are also doing well

Spain/Chile/Australia/Nederland - great one

Well, those are the groups I consider entertaining because of the thrill or the stunning scores. Nothing to complain about those, perhaps Brasil´s group less so than the others.
But if I had to fill a random 38-match league, I would do it with group G :P
2014-06-23 01:47:57
I would go with Spain's or Italy's group :)

anyway, now the G group will be boring in last round, everything is clear except for 1st/2nd place...Ghana and Portugal = out
2014-06-23 01:56:56
I don't know: if Germany and the US tie, everything is decided. But if they actually compete for the first place, one might win, hence enabling Ghana or Portugal to go through. Portugal has it harder because of the 0-4, but if Ghana wins, a draw is practically the only result that would leave them out.
2014-06-23 02:00:24
yeh, but I doubt that Klinsmann and Loew will try to hurt eachother...

also when I was writing it was still 2:1 ;)
2014-06-23 10:02:43
lucky portugal, with that goal in the last minute...

now the group becomes even more interesting...if USA loses at 2-3 goals against Germany, and Portugal wins with 2-0 in the last match, they will qualify in front of the americans
2014-06-23 10:05:28
I'd hoped for USA as Belgium has beaten them 4-0 recently :)
2014-06-23 12:23:41
Wasn't that 2-4?
2014-06-23 12:28:34
correct, but main point was it was a rather easy win :)
2014-06-23 13:07:08
I don't think that game is a big reference.. :) Nevertheless, USA would fit us more then Germany of course which we really need to avoid in second round
