If he had did it first time noone would bat an eye. He has done it several times already and havent learned one bit so a ban is justified 100%.
Biting and elbows are wrong, biting is just out of the ordinary and should be punished really hard. Because it's clearly meant to hurt someone, you don't bite someone on by mistake...

That's the general problem with football in my humble opinion, that absence of fair play. Everybody try to cheat, to take advantage in a way against the rules.

I enjoy the tournament, but feel sorrow for the europian teams.
