What a sore loser.

If they are so bad, why don't you defeat them? Or is it their duty to play in whichever way makes it easier for you to win?

Football is very simple: score more than your opponent. That implies scoring goals and preventing your opponent from scoring. 9-7 or 1-0 is all the same.
Éder achieved from 30 mts what Gignac couldn't from 5: how is that undeserved, then?

In the last 2 years, Argentine defeated Chile twice, and tied 0-0 twice: two finals decided on penalties. They won both, and you won't see me whining about it. If we really deserved it more, then we should have defeated them in the crucial match, period. And they didn't need to injury Messi to do that...
The first tiem, they were better throughout the tournament. This year, we were better throughout the tournament, but it doesn't matter: if you want a tournament were being the best/most regular throughout it decides the winner, watch leagues. Cups have a different design were history is irrelevant and, as long as you stay in, the only thing that counts is how you perform next. And if you reach the final, you have to win that match, not "be the best on average".

France is not so far away from Portugal performance... The 2 first game were won in the very last minutes and the 3rd one against Swiss was a draw.
Then we won with very much difficulty against Ireland who was very poor... We won against Iceland who made his game of the year against England and we were absolutely lucky to have scored 4 times in the 1st half (each occasion came to a goal... Sorry bad english)... Against Germany, we were totally dominated and only luck gave us the chance to go through to final. During final, apart Sissoko who made a nice game, no one took the chance to make pressure (each time we did it, we took the ball easily to portuguese players)... Only fear was inside french guys... No risk taken... Portugal did the same and as CR7 was out quickly, i gave more reason to Portugal to play counterattack. Replacing 2 MDC (Sanches and Silva) by a MOC (Moutinho) and a STR (Eder) was a good option and a risk taken to hope to win... This what happened. Congratz to Portugal who was absolutely not the nicest team to see (Italy and Germany were the nicest for me) but they took their chance on the contrary of France where Pogba and Payet were totally useless during final whereas their "talent" have to be shown.

Just to remind to have seen nice fulled stadium with nice fans (excepted 1st games)... Everyone almost forgot terrorism was in the air.

France has some nice players, a defeat like that must give them the chance to take some risks in life to avoid regrets.

Rui Patricio save Portugal, he is fantastic, it's the single reason for their victory.
Italia play defensive but he play attack, No passes between goalkeeper and defenders for wasting time. Playing defensive in not bad, but play for lost time.. tss
If everybody plays like that, it will be the death of football.

That Portugal succeeds their shot ok, but they deserve nothing..

When teams have a different level I quite agree... But the France is not a big team and Portugal has same level as France. Play like that, it is so small..
We can not say he deserves, congratz Yes but thats all.

Sometimes you just must to do what you need to do to win a game, passing back to the goalkeeper to waste time included, that's football .....

Please stop crying .....

You said : " WFT ?? Portugal just played like you did it against Germany, that's it "

Germany deserve victory in semi final and France in final, but you say Portugal deserve the victory.. Sorry it's not true.

lol lol lol if you keep doing this at the end of the day you will have heart attack ....

congrats to portugal for wining euro 2016.

i was not watch the match life. but in some clip i got in my facebook account, i saw portugal has 2 coach after CR7 out.
this make Portugal have bigger oportunity to win. both of them yelling and manage the portugal team.
and this is for the first time i saw injured player can walk okay and help his coach manage his friend. usually injured player just sit on the bench.
So, i think, the big mistake france did is make CR7 injured. No one ever think CR7 will help manage the team.

I agree ....

Nice win by Portugal. At the end of the day, goals are the important thing and playing "good" or bad" is just about taste. Portugal did what they need to win and they did it... in my book that's playing good.
On Copa America 2011 in Argentina, Paraguay get into the final after 5 ties in a row... "deserving to win" in football is overrated.
Another thing I saw is some British media "crying" for "the worst winner ever"... well their team didn't even got that far... :)

Ricardo "British media?????" Make that English. Have a look at a map.......
2016-07-13 14:16:50
How is being English not being British? He could have said "European media" and it would still be correct...
2016-07-13 21:01:56
Well... I said "some"... but I do apologize if you found my comment somehow disturbing. However, I do understand... in English, USA citizens are called "americans" and I'm american too... from SouthAmerica.

Have a look at a map
I know the map, probably better than most of the europeans knowledge about my continent. I believe that the word "british" applies for the citizens of the United Kingdom (which includes Scotland). Please correct me if I'm wrong becuause this is your mother tongue but just one of the few I speak.
Anyway, there's no point to discuss this matter, at least on this topic. However, you have my total support regarding Scotland independence. Pls, vote again.
