Subject: NY State Championship - in progress...

Before the decisive round we have 4 NY teams left in the cup. Should any of them win the next match they will automatically qualify for Final Four of the tournament. If 3 or more of these teams qualify for 6th round of the US Open Cup we will play Final Six group this season.

It just takes 1 more win for any NY team above to qualify it for final phase of our tournament!

9/23 - preliminary round draw, elimination groups seeded teams draw (founders)
9/30 - preliminary round + draw into the elimination groups
10/7, 10/14, 10/21 - eliminaton round, 2 groups of 4 teams, single matches, the winner from each group qualify for Final Four
10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 11/25, 12/2 - Final Four, 4 teams in 1 group, home and away

Unseeded teams: NYC, Recreativo Inmigrante, The 1dererz, Babcock`s Boys

8:00PM - Final confirmation of the system based upon how many teams are left in US Cup.
8:30PM - 4 preliminary round matches
9:00PM - Group A and Group B founders (from pot 1) - 1 week in advance

Deadline for setting up the preliminary matches – Sunday, 9/27 at 6:00PM Eastern
Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the tournament

Elimination Round
One team from each pot will be drawn into Group A or Group B

Pot 1: F.C. New York, S.C. New York
Pot 2: Cro-Mags, F C Latham
Pot 3: (2) two highest seeded winners from preliminary round
Pot 4: (2) two lowest seeded winners from preliminary round

Note: Any of loser from preliminary round may be qualified should any of the teams above miss the deadline (Saturday, 10/3 at 6:00PM Eastern) for entering into groups!
The losers will be listed on the waiting list, ranked (1)-the best differential of goals in a preliminary match loss (2)-the team's current ranking position.

8:30PM - Pot 2 draw results

9:30PM - Pot 4 draw results

Deadline for entering into groups – Saturday, 10/3 at 6:00PM Eastern
Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the tournament and the best loser from preliminary round will enter instead

These matches are going to be played next Wednesday in Cup System. The winners will be qualified to the elimination groups (Group A or Group B). Please follow the rules or you will be disqualified. Should you lose a match you will be put on the waiting list (the less you lose the better position on waiting list). If another team is disqalified, the first team from the waiting list gets its spot.

Anybody not making any moves by that time will be disqualified!

We are still waiting for 3 other matches. NHace is excused, he sent the invitation. What is the status of other invitations?
