Question: if I play a trainee 60' in the league match and then 30' in the mid-week friendly, both times at the position I am training, is that "better" than him playing all 90' in the friendly, or is it somehow worse, or is it neutral?

Training is something like 100% for 90 min in the league, 90% for 90 min in a friendly and about 110% for 90 min in both. So a league minute is worth a fraction more than a friendly minute up to 90 min then the effect drops significantly. 60 min in the league and 30 in the friendly would be slightly less than a full league game but a bit more than full friendly.

Percentages are estimates.

This is more like:

if a player play 90 minutes in a game.

any two matches: 100% (certain)
competitive match: 93% - 97%
friendly match: 90% - 94%
NT match: 50% (certain)

You can't have more than 100% if a player play 2 games...

Dio- two part question, one about training and the other about experience gained.

what is the part about an NT match being 50%? (does U21 = NT match for this percentage?
if a player plays in an U21 match, 90 minutes, he only gets 50% training?
If he plays 90' in an U21, how many minutes does he need to play in a league match to get full training?
I would think only 45 minutes.

Secondly, does he gain more experience playing a full 90 minutes in league game? or could I put in a sub at 45' and my U21 get full training and then sub get 45' of league training?....

Not sure about Experience.

When it said "certain" in the post above it means that has been "certified" by Greg. So a full game (90 minutes) in any NT or NTu21 game guarantee 50% training compare to a Club League game, while a full league game plus a full friendly game is 100% training. Everything else is speculation.
And same rules apply for a NT team player. If he only play in a NT team game, to get training he needs to play in a position that you train (GK, DEF, MID, ATT)

Does a NT game and Friendly game Guarantee a 100% training in the same training week??? i can't answer that for sure.

So if i player get 90 minutes on a sunday (training around high 90%), why should i waste a spot on a wednsday game that will only give me 5-10% for the same player instead of low 90% for another player??

Dio your numbers are basically the same we just have a different definition of what "full" training is.

my question was NOT about a player playing in League, then again in friendly, rather if he played in NU game 90 minutes (50% training) and then played say 60 minutes in league, should that get him to 100% training for the week (an thus I could play a sub for 30 minutes of league game)?
