Also a forward with lots of scoring but not enough pace will start shooting from outside the area when running 1 on 1 since defenders are catching him.

I would train striking and pace at the same time, if you have a coach that allows you to do that.

At this point you have 2 more years or so of reasonable training, I would forget about technique and go for pace + striking.

Also try to raise his shape, and dont make him play on a league game with that shape, that is just begging for an injury.

i have 4 strikers over 7 eval, i will be able to keep all their shapes at least over 10 =D and i will definitely baby him more than the other 3

rank jumped 5 spots to #9 in int =P

Just made a post suggesting they give us the option to set the P/P differently for each player. Love to see that happen. Just don't know how much complexity it's realistic to ask for in this kind of game.

They are working on something like that, i dont knwo exactly, since they havent told us and we dont have a test server or anything like that (or at least i don t have access to that test server, if it exists)

oh ok, I think we have totally different ideas on how the P/P works though, hope to get that cleared up by superadmin or somebody.

We had this discussion a long time ago

It is a only when a striker is facing the goalkeeper, if there is teammate that is unmarked between that "triangle", it will pass the ball rather than shooting.

Edit, by a striker i don mean with the tactic order Forward, i mean any player that is in front of the keeper and is facing the decision of whether to shoot or pass.

And I strongly believe it is ALWAYS, it is not the case the he might pass or shoot, whenever the requirements are met, he will ALWAYS pass the ball instead of shooting.

Thanks mate, I was getting my information from a reply in the Q/A thread which does not mention that it's only for scoring moves. The news announcement does mention this.
