Today we played the first friendly match of the new season against Israel, led by our friend islander. We played with the U20 squad. We won this match 2:0. I tested two tactics. In the first half we played a 4-4-2 tactic with a defensive center midfielder and an offensive midfielder, while in the second half we played a 4-4-2 tactic with two defensive midfielders, one offensive center midfielder and one wing. The goals for our team were scored by Dermontti Loughlin (FC Start) in the 25th minute of the match (assist: Alexis Silverstein (HoldFast s.c. 2005)) and Jimmy Kay (FC Lawrence) in the 74th minute of the match (assist: Callum Helmsley (ThunderCats)). For our national team, Evan Stine (Bornholm Allstars) and the aforementioned Alexis Silverstein played for the first time today.
In a week's time we will play with our strongest lineup in a match against Sweden U21 in the U21 World Cup Qualifiers.

USA U21 - Crna Gora U21 3:0

Yesterday we won in a friendly match against Montenegro U21 3:0. We played with a new tactic of 4-4-2.
2 goals for our team were scored by Jimmy Kay (FC Lawrence), and one by Dermontti Loughlin (FC Start).
In a week's time we will play a friendly match against another U21 World Cup participant, Armenia U21.
The 3 highest ranked U20 Young Bald Eagles - I Edition players Chuck Mackenzie, Jonathan Stolarczyk and Chuck Key will play in this match.
Starting Thursday, we will be able to register players for the second edition.

On Saturday we drew with Armania 0:0. It was the last match of our U21 players before the U21 World Cup, because next week we will play with the U20 team against Thailand.

Yesterday we won the friendly match against Thailand U21 1:0. We played with the U20 team, so as many as 12 players made their debuts in this match. We played a very good match, but we were ineffective. We had 20 shots and only scored 1 goal. The goal for our team was scored by 19-year-old striker George Cox.
We will play the first match at the U21 World Cup on Saturday. Our rival will be Mexico U21.

Kypros U21 - USA U21 0:3

Yesterday we won against Cyprus U21 3:0. We played a very good match with the new tactic 4-4-2. The goals for our team were scored by Jimmy Kay, Owen Ambersley and Foster Madden. We have two more friendly matches ahead of us and we will start the U20 Gold Cup here.

Việt Nam U21 - USA U21 1:3

Today we won against a strong rival Vietnam U21 3:1.
Next week we will play a friendly match against Israel U21, coached by our friend - Islander.
This will be the last match with the U21 squad this season.
In 2 weeks we will start the U20 Gold Cup tournament.

Nicaragua U21 - USA U21 1:7

Today we won against Nicaragua U21 7:1. The top scorer was Foster Madden (Dinamo T), who scored 4 goals. 2 goals were scored by Jimmy Kay (FC Lawrence), and one, his first goal for USA U21 was scored by 20-year-old Bert Macy (Atlantic FC).
I am very pleased with the high win. We will start the U20 Gold Cup tournament in a week.
