Subject: Suggested Changes in Sokker

So I played Sokker sometime between 2010 and 2012 and then left the game due to other priorities. I just recently joined the game and disappointingly, found it the same way as I had left in 2012. Anyway, here is a big suggestion for Sokker that can actually increase its user base to a great extent.

With the onset of internet, what attracts people to any game is the community of the game. I'm a Sokker user from India and the community in India is very small. After joining Sokker, I was thrusted into a low level league in which all teams are bots. When I get promoted twice or thrice is when I'll actually be able to play against real users and not bots. When you just play against bots, you may get bored after a time and would lack the enthusiasm for the game.

I was playing Top11 which is again a football manager game app, I found that the leagues in that game consisted of people from all different countries. There was no compulsion in the game that I had to just play against Indian users.

My suggestion for Sokker is this:
Similar to Top11, instead of having a national league where you can only play against teams from your country, why not have a league where you can play against teams from different countries. Similar to the national league that we have, we can also have a promotion relegation system. This way, new users will actually be able to play against actual users of the game and can interact with the teams in the league. This will increase the excitement of the game. We can have a national league side by side with the international league along with the friendlies and can increase the number of friendlies to 3 per week. Or we can just scrap the national league altogether and just have an international league as I mentioned above with promotion relegation and we can continue with 2 games per week. Either way, it will really help the game and I can 100% assure that number of Sokker users will atleast quadruple if not more.

Sokker is a game which has great potential as compared to other football manager games. Just a few minor changes are required.

We've had numerous idea's which could be awesome. But there's no one left to execute them...so no point in pointing out good idea's. It's like talking to a wall and wondering where the response might be...
But the community still lives! We have several nurses to come give us food every now and then :-p

To be honest, when I saw the new topic, I thought... in times of Corona, the devs found some spare time to check out their site. The only thing they did... was them checking out :-p

So are you saying that there is no one who is handling the game? Is the game going on of its own accord right now?

Dont take it like that. You can see it the other way around. If that many people keep on playing after nearly 9 years in real life (35 sokker seasons) without any change, it is a proof that the game is solid and people are enjoying it.
And you never know what tomorrow is made of.

Jup the game is fine, but a game needs to be changing otherwise it gets behind (like fortnite , it changes every week so it keeps popular with the kids.

Also what i liked most of this game where the users , most of them leaved.
The freestyle belgium forum was pretty popular , but now it's like a desert with some remains of a great old civilization
