did you guys recently update chrome? I think its only a chrome issue!

Try a different browser.

It's not a chrome-specific issue:

Strange. My editor does not work with ff (adobe flash)/chrome (integrated flash), but with opera everything works fine.

Btw: it was working for me in Chrome, and also in IE. I checked Chrome Canary and all went wrong as reported here. I went back to Chrome release and now it's broken there as well, but IE still works :S

but IE still works

thats a first... :D

Perhabs will be fixed when they move server database tomorrow.... might be something to do with the crash this tactics problems....

... and I fixed it again!

I followed the steps here to disable one Flash version (Google one) and use the shockwave, "system" one. The link is possibly a bit outdated (instead of C:\Users\roaming\... the Google plugin -"pepflash"- was on C:\Program Files (x86)\...), but the key in my case was to stick to old, third-party flash player. I wouldn't be surprise if Google self-update broke things (once again) when I opened the Canary version (I don't let standard Google to update itself).

Now Chrome ask for confirmation all the time because my flash player lacks whatever security update. I wonder if the fix will survive said update - maybe my flash works because it's old. I'll take the risk and let you know.

OK, confirmed: it is the flash player plug in.

I tried updating but in takes me to Flash player page which says I already have the latest plugin, but it is disabled. They mean the built-in, they argue I don't need any other plugin. That is version 15.0 r0 (15.0.0.223).
If I leave only pepper flash player, version 15.0.0.223 I get the bug. If I enable both plugins, I get the bug. Only when I disable 15.0 r0 and keep the 11.9 r900 enabled ("11,9,900,170") it works, but ask me whether I want to run "this time" the outdated version at each time.

So, somehow the plug in version 15.0.0.223 it's just not good, but whatever previous version many of us were using should be fine. We just need to find a way to revert to the last working version.

It still doesn't explain what happens to people using other browsers, though.

I believe November 12 should be dommsday: http://www.filehippo.com/download_google_chrome/changelog/59254/

Although the date of first post of this thread seems to suggest it wasn't until the subsequent update that hell broke loose: http://www.filehippo.com/download_google_chrome/tech/59323/

OK, final update from me:

I went here and reinstalled Flash player. It will tell you that "you already have the latest version, but it's disabled" if you disabled pperer flash as I did (see above). Ignore it and click on "next step" (uncheck the McAfee spam first if you don't want to install McAffee spam as well).

After this installation, I now have 15.0.0.223 pepper flash (still disabled) but also 15.0.0.223 standard flash (enabled). No more complaints about security update, and no more bug! :)

PS: I also disabled the plugin "Google update" in the plugins page, as it is responsible for Chrome's auto-updates, in case it overwrites my changes. But I think it shouldn't be necessary, as I didn't roll back the update, just disabled the (updated) "pepper" plugin. Just bear it in mind in case future updates break this again.

Responsibles of sokker have to repair this problem with chrome, we are paying for play correctly !!
2014-11-25 14:55:34
Is it a Sokker bug or browser problem?
2014-11-25 17:32:10
Sokker staff can't repair anything because nothing changed in Sokker :) As far as I can tell, it's a flash plugin issue. I posted the solution a few messages above. You can also check a version in Spanish at the Argentinian forum.
