You missed my point. I am open to the fact that this might be a good idea. I am just saying that it's crucial how it would be synchronised with the current economy. If it would enable rich clubs to have a smaller roster thus making their top league existence financially more sustainable in the long-run, then it's no good. Economy should be balanced in a way that enables lower league clubs to progress financially quicker than the upper league clubs. It wouldn't be fair that the only way of going up is if players who joined earlier quit the game.

So basically, I would definately support the idea if cost/benefit would be negative even for top class players, i.e. doctor's daily cost should be higher than his average daily value of healing a top class player:
doctor's daily wage > (player's purchase value amortised per day + player's daily wage) x general average injured time per team (in days) x doctor's healing efficiency (% of injured days healed).

An unearthly head coach is also a no brainer for everyone, but only the rich(er) teams have these.

No, i know many clubs who are making their money on 14 days high income by having less good coaches. I for one am making my money on short term training and talent graphs, so i have choosen coaches that makes me lose money every 14 days. In coaching there are many many variants that makes picking the coaches correctly important. And the cost/benefit is hard to figure out.

For physios it would be more solo based on how good the physio works contra effeciency. And thereby a no brainer

Same for large stadiums, best players, best trainees, max size of junior school, these decisions are also no brainers to have the best of the best...

Once again i must inform you that many teams try different solutions for getting their 14 day budget to either give high income, no income or wanting to make money but with loss on 14 days. Physios would be a cost/benefit balanced choose by most i think.

I dont know if my solution would be the better for not making it an easy pick. I just believe that if introduced with same extreme linear function as coaches, it would be a no brainer unless they are very cheap.

But i would like psysios very much in the game.. :) Not for shortening of injuries, but for the realism and more buttons to control the outcome.

Oeh.... just saw this in another thread: Doctor for less injury length, physios for less injury chance..... that would give a good twist to the idea.. :)

To those, who complain, that young teams can't afford the same doctors - You don't loose anything, if you don't have a doctor. Those teams, who have a doctor, win a bit.

I'm not particularly crazy about this idea, but i dont mind it either.

Those people saying that weaker team wouldnt be able to afford, can i remind you that thats pretty much the same as everything in sokker.

Weaker teams cant afford the best coaches, the best stadiums, the best players, the best youth school, so i dont see what the big deal is that they wouldnt be able to afford the best doctors!

this game will start to look like hattrick, we have a doctor, the player is healing every 1 max 2 days with 1-2 points, in sokker if you are realy unlucky you get +20 injury, normal injury is between 12-18 days, because that "easy injury" is not needed the doctor option, why to have doctor? , why not exclude the injury directly from this game, and the y/r cards also.

Because HT has doctors Sokker is starting to look like HT when doctors are also introduced? Is HT the only online soccer manager game that is using doctors?

Because HT has something doesn't mean Sokker shouldn't. HT is not unique and HT didn't invent doctors. HT is also just 1 of many soccer managers games that is using concepts already used by many other games way before HT.

Many are complaining about to many and to long injuries, doctors can solve this problem and is the only realistic solution to do something about injury time.

injury is a part of the game, many important players in rl had career ruined by injury and i'm sure that the clubs had enought money to support medical assistance.
- Tomáš Rosický, Eduardo,Diaby ( from arsenal)
- Owen, Woodgate, Hargreaves, L.King, Essien, Muamba, Damien Duff and the list is way bigger.

Yes, but how many players get medical help by doctors/physiotherapists working for those clubs? ;)

Team Awesome has always had Dr Snape looking after it's players.
