Subject: [idea]2nd team for plus members

2012-01-22 13:42:15
So what happens if you get tired of your second team? Third team??

hmm... well no. and imo theres a lot to do with 2 teams. especially if there is world league

it would drive up player prices a lot though i think in short term

Sokkker is not gaming price.

Read the whole thread dude...your point is irrelevant.

It will not be possible to transfer between the two teams.
Transfer market would be separated.
I think he meant that if you get banned with one team, do you get banned with the other one too? Imo, yes.

I dont think it about transfer between the two teams, but between a team(who have another) and other user's team from TL.

Love the idea of a second team for Plus users.

And I like the most simple option:
- No new countries for Plus teams, no new leagues for Plus teams etc etc. Plus managers should only be able to start a new second team in their own country, and they start as every new manager has to start in the lowest division with a crappy team. Just as if you start all over again with this second Plus team. (Only a new division has to be added in a country, when there are to many teams for the existing divisions, just as it is already.)

- The second Plus team is a 'normal' team just as every other team, only all actions between the main team and second Plus team of a Plus manager must be made impossible. And also bidding on players/coaches with two teams must be made impossible, so if you bid on a player/coach with one team, the other team can't bid on the same player/coach anymore for the full 2 days transferperiod.

- On the Club page of the main team there could be a link to open the second Plus team, so there is always a link between the main team and second Plus team. And on the Club page of this second Plus team there could be some text so everyone can see this is a second Plus team of a Plus manager (also works as advertisement for buying Plus), for example like this:

- When a manager stop paying Plus, this second Plus team automatically becomes a botteam. This is the only minor downside, but it is a 'normal' team so it's the same as if a manager stops playing Sokker. So this isn't a problem, just a minor downside, as we aren't going to focus on a small group but on the bigger picture of more active teams overall.

If to many plus teams will be at a moment boot teams(because users don't will pay out for more months plus), this will increase the boot teams numbers and sokker will be not enjoyable by many users from last leagues. And fake(who don't will respect the rules) users with plus if will be taked out, losing all 2 teams, we will increase much more the number of boots.
No, i don't could agree this idea.

If to many managers stop paying Plus all together (which is not that likely to happen with extra nice Plus options), and if no other managers buy Plus who will kick these botteams out the division in 1 season (or maybe 2), and if people cheat, yes that would not be a good thing.

But these are all 'if's' and again focusing on a small minor downside and not the fact that there will be much more active teams in divisions as the current situation. Also probably more managers will buy Plus to have this extra team and by that even more active teams in all divisions. And because there will be much more active teams, even if a few of these 'if's' happen, there will still be much more active teams and less botteams as there are now.

I don't like this idea and I absolutely don't see the point in it.
Anyway, you can already have a 2nd team if you really want to without breaking the rules and without having plus. Just ask someone from the same household to join the game and follow the rules of sharing connections.

That would be cheating, the rules are very clear about having 2 teams!!

This idea isn't cheating and most probably will make a lot more managers buy Plus, or to keep Plus, that's the point. And another point is that more countries will have more active managers in all divisions, more as they have now. So this isn't only fun for the Plus managers to have a second team, but also to new managers who won't be playing in complete bot-leagues anymore.

And another positive thing is that smaller countries will have more junior players so that will be good for the future of U21 national teams and national teams.

Up for marts

Maybe you can find some ideas in this thread

I find it a bad idea. Then get non-plus users more benefit. While a manager if I just find favor. Get the other managers that way more experience. It is in this way towards real game advantage.
Also consider the topic of Marts, about the same idea.

Implementing this idea should be the last step in the long list of wrongdoings that lately 'our' devs seem comited to do.

I think to remember that this idea was proposed in the pasts, but for EVERYBODY, and with logical requisites an limitations. For instance, these teams (only 1 per club) could be activated by clubs with experience (1-2 full years in Sokker), which had promoted (1-2 leagues up), expending (the 'mother' club) the fundation expenses (500K €, for instance),

and have some restrictions, like that they could not reach the same league that the main club (tricky to control, in cases in which both could be promoting and/or relegating), they could be limited in players' movements (players from B team could be promoted to A, but not the opposite; they could *buy* only players who had not already played *official* matches in another team; juniors would join the B team upon exiting schools...), money could not be 'passed' amongst both teams (but a maximum in funds could be established -1M€-, so excess -for instance, form sales- were transfered to the A team), etc.

It couls be tricky to do, but more realistci, and fair for all the managers.

But, if something like B teams has not been considered to be truly implemented until now, and it were done now only for (real) money motimes, it would be really the worst dislpay of 'worseness' from those 'our' devs...
