Looking over your club here is what I can say about it:

- Lower the amount of players for your Main and Youth squad to about 18-23 players. Anything more is not needed in your current situation. Sell or terminate those you do not plan to use.

- You won't be able to get any high-level staff coaches as all were already bought. You need to wait until next season when new ones are generated during the first week. Remember that most clubs already have their staff members positions filled so you will have the upper edge.

- Keep focusing on upgrading your amenities like you've been doing. Always aim to get a better sponsor signed each season.

- You currently do not have any scouts, which is necessary after the second or third season. Go to the staff market you should be able to get 6.00+ rating scouts enough to be able to bring in the best possible prospects. Your finances you currently have should be able to sustain at least 5 prospects at a time while still making $1,000,000+ each week you play home.

- Do not train your AM or U19AM as it's not worth it due to their low rating. When you purchase your scouts, train them instead. You can replace your AM's next season and start off with at least 5.00+ rating.

- You did not have any marketing during the first week of the season which is why you were only eligible for the starting sponsors (big mistake). Make sure that you get enough marketers to be able to acquire the highest sponsors you can sign before the end of the season.

Any tips for me? My team name is afc ajax.

I think the best strategy for you is to buy all Greek players that are TL this week for over 60 million dollars. Don't forget that Ajax is a Greek name AIAΣ...

There isn't much "tips" I can give you, being that your club is one the best. Your finances are very conservative (which is a great trait to have when managing your club). Overall, I do not see anything wrong with the way you manage your club presently. So whatever you're doing, keep it up.

I hadn't expected any other answer. Thanks.

I'm pretty much following what Ajax does irl. Focus on youth and only buy reinforcements when absolutely needed. :-)

Well that would make FS an even more 'true to life' experience. :p

I suggest you close your youth academy. Thats what I did. On this "reset times", it is best to close the youth academy, until your finances are strong enough again to support a good youth academy. And whenever you decide to reopen your YA, make sure do you it with the best of the best staff (in the future of course). When it comes to the YA, you open it with full good staff, that way it will be worth it, otherwise it is not worth having a YA with bad staff.

In regards of the economic changes, I think they were a good change, they were necessary, what I still dont like is the design and the prestige addition. The rest of the game Its still good and the economic changes was a necessary improvement in my opinion.

The problem is that in this kind of games I'm no longer interested in trophies and competition - not enough time and will for it, I play casually. Therefore Youth Academy and improvement of my own youths is the ONLY thing that I'm interested in. So if I can't afford a decent YA, then there is not sense in playing the game for me.

Well, I see your point. If I were you, I would still close the YA, sell/terminate contract with most of the players I can, go on automatic mode and in 2 seasons from now with better finances reopen the YA. But thats just what I would do, maybe someone else has a better advice. :/

In general that's my whole point about the games finances. I get why they had to change them, but perhaps it made more sense to further increase the wages of top players and top staff if they wanted to 'drain' the richest teams. Instead they made the YA extremely hard to finance...while YA is the only way for weak/new teams to improve...

Massive advertising has began in internet for FS. More than a thousand new managers in just a couple days. Seems like things will get more competitive now.

I doubt it, current finances make it simply boring for new users since they won't be able to do anything, except training bad 27yo players that they get.

Also they changed the rules to make an 'artificial crowd' - now you have to be at least 60 days inactive to lose your account, so there will be a lot of 'ghosts' just to make it seem like the games is alive.

And how is that any different that, let's say sokker for example? New teams start with worse players, staff, headquarters ect. That's completely normal way to start and I doubt anyone thinks that as unfair. Anyway, they've given economy bonus for new teams so anyone who actually takes some time to learn about the game will be able to afford more and more things by time.
2017-08-01 11:37:39
No, it's not the same.
In sokker from Day 1 you can afford youth school and 100% main training (only difference is "additional training"). Plus from Day 1 you can buy decent 16-17yo players for training.

In FS after 1.5 years of playing you can't even afford a Youth Academy and top teams spend 50 million on one staff member :-D

FS has a terrible economy and the changes made it even worse for new teams. Yeah, sure, you have extra training for first seasons, but you have nobody worth training, so what's the point? :D

You won't buy decent youths from TL because there are basically no users in the game and nobody sells decent youths, because you can train EVERYONE all the time - from GKs to strikers (in sokker you can train in general 1 group - defs, mids, strikers or GKs, so people sell youths even if they are decent, because they don't fit their plan).

So please tell me, what's there to do for a new user?

1. he can lose games or play vs bots
2. he can train 25-28yo weak players

...that's it :-D

you can't even afford a youth school to get a chance for good players
