Hey guys, was reading the forum and checking if there was any topic about this great game. Since there was none, I decided to make one.

http://www.FootballStrategy.org aka FS is a new game (similar to Sokker) with a great match viewer and engine. Its really entertaining and easy to manage and play. Basically user-friendly.

Here is an example video:

Link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/v/aoLS5kwgE6I

And here is the quick and short tutorial explaining how to set your tactics: https://www.youtube.com/v/WHWq77k110E

Its a fun game that will be liked by those who also like Sokker. :)

Lets use this topic to discuss tactics, friendlies, tournaments and such. :D

Era of browser based games is over :)

Would have been very popular 10 years ago, probably.

Sokker has over 40k users. I dont know about you, but it seems pretty popular to me. Anything above 5k users is popular, especially games like these which are for smart people. In this case, sokker is doing very well.

Glazy: this game is awsome, but unfortunatelly have few active users:(

The FS team announced that next year (maybe mid-2016 or late-2016) they will launch an internet massive advertisement campaign. Maybe they are rich or something because internet massive advertisements are very expensive. They are taking their time currently making the game better before launching the massive advertisiments on internet.

Yep it's a pretty good game. The developers listen to the players and you can actually communicate with them unlike some games. I'm having quite a bit of fun now developing young players and trying to understand the Match Engine. Just like sokker having a tactic that is strong against your opponent and also fitting your team is very important and could lead to you beating opponents who are much better.

And still - NOBODY plays FS. Shows how dead is the outdated browser-based idea of online football managers.

borkos007 new game? a 2 year old game is not new :P

It started in May 2014, so 1 year and a half. :P

They havent started with the massive advertising, they said they want to be 100% ready with cel aplication, better tutorial and more stuff they will add this coming year. They want to have an user-friendly game before taking this big step. So they said massive advertising will take place probably by the mid-late of next year or maybe early 2017.

You will never see 1 million people on games like these (very tactical with match viewer) because not everyone have the brains to manage teams like these on games like Sokker (very successful game of this type btw) or FS or UM. But look at sokker, 30k 40k + or - users. Thats actually massive ammount for games like these. In my personal opinion, 5k users in these types of games is good enough, so more than that is success.

Give FS time and they will do well too. I think games like these (Sk, FS, UM, etc) should support each other since all of them have their own special touch and style.

That's what UM owners keep telling themselves :P

But look at sokker, 30k 40k + or - users

Sokker is a 2004 game. We barely got back from 20k users and we're not sure how stable all those new users will be yet.

In my personal opinion, 5k users in these types of games is good enough, so more than that is success.

Possibly. At least with 5k there would be a game to talk about. But son't underestimate borkos' argument. UM already died, and it's hard to come up with any example of a game like this that has managed to succeed in the last... 5 years? 10 years? HT and SK are survivors from old times (and only SK is really SK-like or FS-like :P).
I wish all the best to FS and to anyone making such a project, I don't doubt the game itself, but I do doubt the market...
