The opinions dont differ, greg has stated in an answer, that has been poster over 50 times, that a NT match is 50% of an official match....
and yes, training counts when you are not the one with wrong tactic..
To give a source for that:
Match Engine Changes
rtg [del] 2009-11-29
"- NT players will get 50% of training instead of 33% while playing in a national match"

50% of an official match which is less than 50% of possible training in a week

I have magical main coach with everything unearthly except keeper skill + 3 magical assistants, but I have only 1 RPP per week in average, despite I have over 10 trainees around 17. Can anyone please tell me what is going on?
It is not a random pop, it is a calculated pop.
Your players are just lower than needed to pop. But they still will pop faster than players who have lesser coaches. (talent of your players could also be a problem.)

There are no random pop, it's general training. Every skill is trained at a much lower intensity than your selected training for the players who played during the week.
What's going on is, that once they had a skillup in a skill it takes pretty long until they got a skillup again in that skill (no sub left in that skill).
Like I said, general training takes much longer for a skillup.

i know general training should be +- 10% of normal training, but that is just not in my case .. because even players that have great talent doesnt do rpp on poor skill on 20 weeks
