I'm definitely with Spin on this one... Higher defender is more valuable imho.

First of all, players with high PM and mid order would rarely shoot on goal if they are playing alongside "pure" striker. Second, difference in realization percentage is not that high between incredible and divine striker skill that it wouldn't be neutralized by few extra possessions divine over incredible def would provide (especially if that possessions are coming from challenging opponent defenders). So even if You compare that players as off mids exclusively, i wouldn't say that higher striker is more useful than higher def. On the other hand, having higher defender provides much more tactical options and makes that player more immune to low form.

Sure, if You have great fond of players (speaking about NT of countries with 200+ users) having a striker with amazing secondaries could be of great benefit but if You have to chose a one of that two types of players as a building point for Your team, I'll take one with divine def over one with divine striker every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Even if You can use Ferrari off road (which I seriously doubt), it won't perform better than any average car. While Hummer still beats most average cars easily on highway.

If I had to chose I would prefer divine striking but lower pace and passing, not defender.

And such player plays better as ATT than as MID.

Generally there are many more benefits of high striker than only direct goals (corners, reflected balls, long strikes when the ATTs are strictly covered)

really nice indeed...i tried to make a few of my players 5xdivine, but it`s really hard...i could only take them to 4xdivine and some defending...
