this ME+suprise= a lucky team wins against an unlucky team
haha. I've prepared tactics for that match. in both half we had a lot of chances. we lost a defender because of red card and then stupid own goal...
which team do you call lucky one? your GKs blocked 4 one-on-one situations... the statistics are quite similar but we had more shots.. (half of them 1vs1 but not scored...)

So you're saying that a football game should not be like football in real life, and the match engine sucks because there's some more or less surprising results, such as in real life?
What do you want them to do? Change the match engine into tennis or what? The things you're saying make absolutely no sense.

Now I understand your point, and I agree that the more tactics count etc the better.
What I don't understand, is why you think they're making a random game. There's always been surprise results and there will always be, in both sokker and real life, old and new match engine.
After all the game is based on calculations and possibilities, so if they coded it otherwise, the results would always be the same. Your team would always win the other team 3-0 or vice versa, and in that scenario too you would be here complaining and asking why the results never change, why not more random.
It sucks if you lose an "easy match" but sometimes it happens, and that's impossible to avoid, if we want to keep the game at least 1% realistic.

mmmmm..... you are very clever... that match was from when Pepe was barca coach.... also, look at possesion, not just shots...... and there are many other cases... like when Greece won euro
Random? WTF? Check Woody's topic about U21 WC, interview with coaches.. the most favored teams were Romania and Czech Republic.. both in finals. Yes - sometimes there are surprising results, but in the end.. it doesn't even matter :P

the surpises wins are Random,there is no logical there is no tactical reasons,
even the wins of some 'better' teams are fakes,there is no logical or tactical reasons either
one Reason is the Ranking ofc,and another is the luck and is almost 80-90%
against a lower ranking team
so when those wins (surprise results) happens?its Random.....
