This is exactly what I'm talking about! Same fake betting conspiracy was probably with Greece in 2004 as well. The IRL match engine sucks because things like that are possible.

I have only kicked cans on their balls, but at least I'm doing it in fair play kinda way.

Guys, try to keep it a bit on topic. I know the ME caused some dubious situations but that is the same for everyone...
There are those who might have it occur slightly more than others, but the choise of tactic still is very important.
As for an IRL match engine... never heard of something like that! :-p

Andorra-Hungary 1-0: The coach of Hungary wanted to try some younger players or players with a low international experience. For example he selected one young player form the Hungarian second league. It wasn't the best hungarian team, but the defeat was deserved. Andorra won with their mentality, with their heart.

But! In the sokker are just physical skills.

The are too many "surprises",random results. The match engine was okay,perfect...but now, since 2012 isn't realistic. Tolis, you are right. A lot of users think so.

imagine a soccer team with av.mark 70 to play with one 49 in RL football,if u dont understand this,

Vitesse - AVV Swift

Vitesse is an eredivisie club and won the KNVB cup last season, AVV Swift is an amateur club (see video: real amateurs with a real amateur "stadium"). The av mark is more different as 70 vs 49.

Yes, Swift won!! :O An no, non of the Vitesse players need to sell the match for money, they earn more than enough. This really happened, a couple of weeks ago.

I love how everyone is blaming the match engine whenever there's a result they don't like. Yet no-one is actually able to describe how exactly did the match engine affect the result?

Which specific match engine changes made their team lose? Which new match engine elements affected the result?

It's been quite a few years already since the changes, and I have yet to hear an answer or an opinion to any of these questions. Is that the match engines fault too?

You forget to mention the previous ME was too predictable. Without surprise results it is boring and completely unrealistic. Yes, to know and expect you will win and do win is nice, but not for the other weaker team. With the previous ME it was almost impossible for weaker teams to win, now the weaker team will almost always loose but not always.

Ok :)

"how exactly did the match engine affect the result?" This is a big question and an answer too...I don't know this. I can't find the really answer.

predictible= for me: if I prepare for the game and I make a good job,I know,I'm going to be a winner, but now it is a gamble

The previous ME was much more realistic,It was better for all of the users, they enjoy make tactics. You can now buy players, make tactics (but why do you make tactics,if you know, this ME isn't realistic?)and worry about this gamble game.

The role of the tactic is the problem. To make tactic is a time wasting now. With the older ME the role of the tactic was more important.

I guess your tactic making skills aren't what you expect them to be...
Do you watch your matches? Do you see the flaws in the ME, in your tactic? If you don't, you won't be able to make a decent tactic. And very important is to make a tactic according to the players you have and the opponents tactics. It's much less random than you think if you take your time to analyse.

With the best tactic you will win in the current ME.
Nonsense that is pure random.

Some time ago i was not happy with current ME also and than i tried to make better tactics ( with result!) instead of crying constantly.

This is simply not true. With the right preparations you will still win, but now tactics matter more as it did in the past. If it was really a gamble, the weakest team in a league could become champion, but that won't happen because it's not a gamble, random or whatever. It is data and the data is still in favor of the stronger players (so also team), IF your tactic and line up is okay.

I don't why I joined this discussion. The ME won't change back, and I'm glade it won't.
