If a tackle is succesfull or not, depends on levels of technique, pace, angle of tackling, def.... so no it is not random. A %-chance is not random, that is a statistic chance. The fact that you need that many games to be sure of winning enough to prove your team is better, i believe is in two main factors. 1: tactic 2: Many teams in sokker are good

Team Niløse won 18 straight danish championships in a row, and in that meantime Springfield Atoms was participating in CC final and also making record for highest average mark on a full season in denmark, so it was not because nobody was challenging him i also came up and tried to challenge him some few seasons before he choose to call it a day.

If it were random, then tell me what you are doing here to try and win for the 3rd time CC, out of how many finals, and how many users in sokker. (so doing a 1/8000 thing, THREE times, out of only 25 attempts, is random?)

You might wanna discuss the number of goals in sokker, true. But randomness in who is winning, drawing or losing, is by far lesser random then in RL, especially if you look into that a season only takes 14 weeks, and therefore should have bigger random winner possibilities.

I'm not sure if the word "random" has different meanings in Danish...
but uhm, let me reiterate: of course there is a random element in this game, otherwise it would be deterministic and it would get boring pretty quickly. Chances of a tackle being succesful will probably be decided by a bunch of factors, those you mentioned plus things like form, stamina, etc....and then there will be a random number generator that will play a part in the final outcome. Good game design will ensure that the outcomes will feel like a realistic statistical distribution whereas a poorly designed engine would end up feeling too deterministic or too random.
If you're still in doubt you may want to remember that Sunday a couple of years ago when the servers went down and people didn't get the chance to adjust the lineups so the developers decided to replay the games on the same day. A lot of teams didn't change their lineups and tactics so they played two games against the same opponent with the exact same form, experience, etc....without a random element the games should have ended with the exact same result, however a lot of games played out entirely differently.
And that's precisely why one game isn't enough to really figure out if a team is better than another. It's just the basic stochastic law of large numbers, you need to repeat an event several times to get an approximately correct result if there's a random element.
Anyway, if this game keeps injuring my players the final's result will be clear before we start the game. ^^

the game is what it is still the best for me so lets concentrate on the final
since Outbreakers and Terminators qualified so they are the best teams this season.
Do not forget the game is not only tactical skills but also manager game and those 2 seems have great transfer politic as well so will be interesting to watch.

No random has the same meaning in Denmark, and you are using the word incorrect, or the context in which it is used.

The outcome of a match has "probabilities", not "random" outcomes.

Wahrscheinlichkeit, nicht zufällig.

That sunday matches results changed, doesnt mean it is random, just that the outcome turned into one of the other possibilities.

But good luck in CC final... i guess you are the favourite, but not much more then 65/35, if not even less.. :)

I dont get why you always have so much against conversation and debate on forum. That is actually what a forum is for.

Agree since you stick to the topic :)

Sometimes, not always the tactic makes you win every match.
It also takes a bit of luck in both the game and the real life.
OutBrakers and Terminator.
Good luck to everyone 2 and good fun, It will surely be a great match to see.

Outbreakers - The Terminators 1:4

Well, that was a bit anticlimatic....not bad for someone who supposedly has weak tactics, I guess. ^^

Kinda weird though, it's my third final and I've held a 4:0 lead in all three of them.

Am happy to finally get the 3rd title though, that was my greatest goal. And my Champions Cup ratio of 27 wins and 2 losses is just crazy.

Anyway, thanx for playing, it was a fun cup season.

Congratulations to Uamini for winning the CL for a record 3rd time. He was by far the better team tonight and the best team in the tournament this year. I must say this is the strongest side I ever played with in sokker and also the most expensive one I've ever seen since I play :) But it is not only the players, in this final game my opponent was having the better tactic as well so quite a deserved win.

Yeah I think you chose the wrong tactic for the game, but it happens sometimes.
Still a great achievement to reach the finals two years in a row, not a lot of teams have managed that.
