I'm pretty sure you did. Think you got knocked out fairly early on after getting past the group stages.

Yeah you got swamped by Srbija in a game where they had everything going their way and was a bit of a harsh scoreline.

I remember that game, wasnt aware it was part of this tournament though.
Usually my aim would be to win this competition but i think it's almost impossible this time around. Most of the teams around our level last time have now progressed beyond us. Colombia should be clear favourites.

I wouldnt count out Israel , we had Colombia beaten 2 weeks ago , led 2:0 , got a red card to the best defender , and they scored 2 goals in the last 8 minutes becouse of that to steal the 2:2...
(And last time it was 2:1 for Israel against Ireland...;-)
So... i expect Israel to be in the last 4 at least..

Ah so Colombia arent that good then ;) Maybe Ireland can win it afterall

surely based on ranking and on past history, Australia would have to be right up for being the favourite, although I'm quite happy to go in without that tag :). Certainly a much stronger field this season then last time, a large number of sides could potentially win.

Australia,Colombia,Ireland,Uruguay,Norway,Israel,B&H just to name a few.

Yeah there are plenty of teams who can win it. In terms of players i'd be backing Colombia or Norway but i think it'll be the managers who make a difference. To be honest i'd disregard anyone who won their first election on Sunday. I think it takes a while for most managers to settle in with the national team.

I think Australia is cleary the favorite but...

We're quite capable of getting beaten just like any other side. We'd be in the world cup if we weren't. Uruguay knocked us off a few weeks back for example ;).

A lot depends on the draw and on tactical battles. The MWC will be won on tactical decisions, there's just too many fairly equal teams. Although I agree with Nin in that a newly elected manager might find it tough, it wouldn't surprise me if their NT went reasonably well if they can get past the group stage and the other thing is they have the ability to surprise as it could be quite difficult for managers to work out how they intend to play (especially early on).

Really looking forward to this though, should be a great contest.
